Anyone have a link or experience with this?

It seems to be ripping apart. Ill either need to remove the entire seal and replace it or find some compound that holds it together.

Black Tiger Seal or PU adhesive would be best to stick that guy back on. Stay away from silicone for this application.

What is the issue with silicone?
I love silicone. It definitely has a place in my tool box. However, when I was just a little Floppy, a wise old man once told me that polyurethane adhesives are much better suited for automotive seals than silicon based ones. Silicon based adhesives tend not to stick as well as their silicon counterparts. Never went all Mythbusters on this claim, but have used PU on all my seals without failures.
