Uggh. Today alone we've had 6 Tornado's touch down in the Louisville Metro area. 1 person is dead, many injured. Yesterday we had several more.

Its 7:30pm and things have just now calmed down and now they're calling for another line of Tornadic weather to come in in a few hours. TV and city officials are asking people to take these next few hours to get candles, batteries, flashlights etc ready to do for the next round later tonight as they expect it to be even worse.

Also they just announced that a Tornado is heading towards Indianapolis and the racetrack where the racing just ended at the 500...congrats to Buddy Rice. I sure hope it doesnt hit the track, that will be a disaster.

Anyone else suffering from this weather system?

Yes we've had tornadoes in the area every night for almost the last week, but we're in Kansas so we expect them, in fact some people use them as a method of travel... sorry to hear about the person killed in your area. Any update on the Indy track and that twister?

BTW, last year we had an F5 one that came through town, the first F5 in the US in a few years, amazing to see.

Most of the Sat and Sun storms have been passing just south of St. Louis. Although, we caught the edge of the one that's hitting Indy right now. Today was the 6th day with thunderstorms in the past 8, 2 of which included hail. So far we have been tornado free, but I don't see that lasting for too much longer.
