:)TheTireShoppe.com has signed up as a sponsor of the LotusTalk forum. I would like to think that we have helped many of you with tire selections since Toyo Tire has released the Proxes R888 in sizes for the Elise. We look forward to helping more of you in the future!
We have very competative prices on tires from over 10 manufactures.
I would like to offer a tire wheel package to Lotus members:
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in High Power Silver, Black, or Anthricite, 16X7 front and 17X8 rear. Toyo R888 195/50R16 and 225/45R17 tires, mounted, balanced and Nitrogen filled. A TireShoppe T-shirt and Ringer gloves for $1470 plus freight and $1530 shaved.
If you have any questions feel free to call 866-208-6551 or PM me.

PS We are having some issues with the accuracy of the freight calculator on the web site. We are in the process of building a new site that will correct that among other things. Please call for freight costs.

Joe - are there R888 sizes for the stock LSS wheels that will be about 1/2" less in diameter? I'm encountering minor clearance issues with the R888 is oem sizes. I'm ready for my second set and I'd like to try to solve this issue.

I'm sorry but the 195/50R16 is the smallest 16" made. There is a 195/55R15 but you would need a 15" wheel and it is only .2" shorter.

Ditto. Under compression the fronts wear the wheel well liners and the rears rub a bit on the outboard wheel arch. An option is to raise the car back to 130mm but I'd rather not.

I called Team Dynamics, they might have some options. They were checking on center bore. I'm waiting for an answer. I'll call them again today.

Photo: My car with black TD 1.2s.... 15x7 with 225s front, 17x8 rear with 235s. The rears are slightly smaller diameter than stock, and I've had no problems with ABS. Tires are RA-1 purchased from tireshoppe...

Best,

Phil

The 205s are $131 each and the 245/45R16 are $188. April 1 the rears will go to $197.
The freight is $23 each. (Sorry coming from PA)
