A lotus engineer was quoted during an interview with Autoweek saying the 2ZZ-GE was good for 300HP. I'm not sure if that was NA or FI. It may take a while for the mods to become available. 300hp would give you a 7lb/hp ratio for the Elise in comparison to the 8lb/hp ratio of the Z06. Of course handling would be dependent on suspension set-up but 2000lbs compared to 3100lbs would give the Elise a significant advantage.

Closer to 3100 lbs. They are fairly light particularly considering how muscular they are, although they don't drive as light as you'd think a 3100 lb cars should drive.
