So what tracks are near San Antonio? I've got an ongoing interview with a company there (rather not say till it's a done deal) and was wondering about the driving situation.
Harris Hill is about 30 minutes from San Antonio. Its a great fun track and membership is cheap.. There are about 8-10 LotusTalk members who are members of this track. Any of us can bring you as a guest to check out the track and see if you like it. Feel free to call on me if you want to go.

Also here is some video of me driving at the track. There is some more video on my vimeo account that you can look at as well.

The next closest track to you would probably be Texas world Speedway which is a much higher speed track and much longer (2.9 miles). Probably 2.5 hours from San Antonio.

At about 3 hours from San Antonio you would have MSR Houston. Fun track but kind of flat with not much elevation.

At about 3.5-4 hours you will have Motorsport Ranch Cresson. An extremely fun track with lots of elevation. This track is run in 3 configurations and can go from 1.7 to 3.1 miles. I dont have any decent video of Cresson hosted at the moment, but trust me its a fun track.
You also have Driveway Austin & Grandsport Speedway which most people do not run much. Driveway Austin is a Racing School track and does not do DE's. Grandsport speedway is only 1.1 miles long and can get old quick.
Eagles Canyon is about an hour north of Fort Worth and I can't say much about it as Ive never been. Just to far to drive from Houston.
