Okay, with the unofficial, official release date upon us, with Chris getting his Elise, does anyone know or can say if dealers will be getting more than 3 cars a month? Are the delay overs?

Before the latest delays the plan was for a ramp up the first three months. My dealer is still expecting 2-3 cars for the first 3-4 months then at full production around 8 car per month.

As far as the roll out goes, other then Chris it seems more like getting the cars released today. If the dealer is close to the distribution center may get there cars today or tomorrow. Most likely it a demo and 1-2 customers car. Gotta prep them, so would expect to see other #1-2 customers getting cars this weekend or by early next week.

Its awesome that Chris got his car - for him anyway...

Still a little concerned about the lack of info coming from Lotus to the dealers. I talked to Park Place today and asked about their demo. Thought they may have heard something by now. Said last they heard was maybe around July 25th. Were surprised to hear that a customer got a car already. Looks like the last info they got was the rather vague memo from English saying cars will start to ship this week. But it never mentioned allocations, what dealers get cars first, etc. I am sure all this will improve with time.

One car is a start!
