Hi all...Adrian here from Lotus St. Louis...Thought I would share a few quick pics as we just got our first 2009 Lotus type 25 Elise SC this morning...Just a few snaps of it right off the truck... BRG with red may sound 'meh' on paper but looks great in person, especially with all the raw carbon fiber trim !

Was hoping our Isotope Green Elise 190 would be on the same truck, but it wasn't...should be here next Tuesday or Wednesday I am told !

Cheers ! Adrian Hill ~ Lotus St. Louis ~ [email protected]

Wow, I love it!
^^ Yes, it's the really cool  raw CF also. I will post some nice quality pictures once it's had it's pre delivery inspection , road test & it is detailed. BTW...It's one of just 25 type 25's coming state side !

At your first mention of a red interior I thought yuck, but it’s black with red trim, and it does look vary nice. Classic Lotus color combo, I like a lot, thanks for sharing.

And yes, more pics please.
Love that New Lotus Smell!!!
Now, wonder if I can get that steering wheel put in my Ardent red Exige... hmmm....
Cheers,
Skottoman
i like the steering wheel i have a similar one to that
Is that actual carbon fiber cloth, or just leather with a fake carbon fiber pattern embossed on it as BMW uses?
Thanks for the pics.
The first 2009 pictures posted - finally a dealer has taken delivery of one!!!

^^^ The carbon fiber on the door panels is the real deal - It just does not have a shine on it as it's the raw finish as opposed to the clear coated shiny finish used by most manufacturers ~ I'll post better pictures once it is out the of the shop !

Cheers

Wow that red steering wheel would go great with my red interior. Everything is well done, the trim shop really knows what it's doing :D

I'm not quite sure on the door panels but I believe it's just a carbon fiber print that Lotus has done before but here's another interior shot.

Ouch!!!

Adrian-

You're making my life rough. I love the BRG. The yellow stripe adds at least 20 hp, and this car is within 5 miles from where I live.

I don't know if you remember, but I was the guy who came in to sit in the yellow Elise SC a few months back to see if I could heel and toe.

Not happening today though.

^^^ Ha ! Yes, I think we decided you needed to come back in wearing Piloti driving shoes !

This car should be in the showroom by Monday or Tuesday if you would like to check it out ~

Cheers, Adrian.
Ouch Again

Adrian-

I was wearing Pilotis. I think I need elevator heels or something. Of course, I never started the engine. A test run at high speed, with hard braking on a corner may change my mind on the brake/accelerator height differential.

When it's time, I'll be by to order/pick up a normally aspirated Elise with cash. Of course, by then, they may all have electric motors, or be powered by nuclear fusion...who knows.

Thanks for your courtesy in the showroom. The Ferrari F430 convertible was quite nice also, but WAY out of my price range.

Everyone-

Nice people at this dealership. Not snobby in the least, even though I showed up in my 2001 Miata which is beginning to resemble a beater.

Wow, that's nice... Finally, a 2009 photo.
Adrian,

I might be by this afternoon to do some part swapping.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

:D
Are the white "25" circles painted on or stickers?
