I think there is some confusion because the new BRG does not look like the old BRG, but those pics are the new BRG we are being offered.

The color offered in the US is NOT BRG, it's actually called Lotus Racing Green.

Maybe that is why they call it LRG because it is not the same as BRG.

There is no reason I can see not making this color combo on your own. Just get the green and buy vinyl stripes or have them painted. Last pic has the yellow wheels...looks better.

The traditional BRG (like seen on the 50's racing Jags) was nearly black. One could easily say it was black with a green tint.

LRG was lighter, closer to a forrest green. The current rendition of LRG is the same shade, but now metallic.

well, imho that is why it is wrong. what has tradition got to do with it? hell, these are brits building the car- if they cannot abide tradition who can? hence no green for me. i wanted the traditional color. so it goes
