I like the look of the updated side mirrors and they look to offer better visibility over standard.

Has anyone retrofitted these or knows if they even fit? I assume they mount
to the same holes because the doors were carried over into the new Exige and Elise.

They look much better with the slim arms. I'm wondering if the lens are convex as well.

The 2008 Elige S240 owners manual says the passenger side is convex (standard mirrors), but they look flat and don't enlarge the viewing angle.

They would probably be VERY expensive: $600+ each

these are very cheap but comes unpainted...only need to replace the "split arm" part...the mirror part can be reused...if only someone can make a carbon fiber version of this...wink wink HKfever or plastidip them

at least these updated mirrors seem to be more "user friendly" than the standard ones.
I can't believe the amount of time I always spend to get rid of the smashed insects in that small opening between the current arms...

Compared with our S2 Exiges, the new mirror extensions are required to get a view around the wider V6 Exige rear. As mentioned above, it should be possible to buy just the new extensions and install on our cars. Thinking I may be an early adopter, just not the first.
