Used Brake pads

Anybody have a half used set of (front or rear) Stock pads they be willing to unload for my vehicle at trade in. I'd prefer not to give away a complete set of DTC70's with only 1 track day on them!

Plack you come to mind as an early adopter. Stripping car down for potential trade in.

By the time I did a tune to get ~310HP $1000-2000
upgrade all bushings to "S" spec $ 2500
I am better off just upgrading the vehicle esp considering some of the deals out there. I have done all I can to my 2010 before i start throwing money at it.

Sure - I still have 1/2 life on my stock pads.
I can see for the cost trying to salvage the DTC70's but I see a risk that could become troublesome on the new car. You have old pads seated into a set if disc's and calipers now you are not only moving them to brand new disc's but also calipers that while "identical" are ever so slightly suspended differently, a milli here a milli there and the pad is in a whole new world to try to adjust to.

I wil not mate old pads to new disc's even on the same car, just IMHO.

I think for street driving it wouldn't be an issue - they should mate up over some time. I can't see them actually causing any damage besides cleaning the rotors a few atoms while mating up.
Ha, I wasn't even thinking of the street pads but the DTC's on track
And zi figured track usage would only hasten the process. Half dozen laps and they're MATED!. Would I want to do this for first lap of a race??? Probably not.
