OK, I spend time to find a way to put a trailer attachment on my Elise... to transport my track tire when I am going to the track...

After thinking quite a lot, I found a simple solution. The criteria was:
- no attachment visible, it is dismountable
- able to trac a small trailer, for tire
- Adding maximum weight on the car, around 1.2 pounds, not that bad.

Belows you will find the primary picture, the body will be over the car within two week. The attachment is removable, and is located outside the car. I just have 2 permanent small (1x1) aluminum bars bolted on the frame. I will need to put 2 holes 1 1/4 on the rear grille (one both side of the license plate).

I am very happy by the solution.

Will keep you posted.

The aluminum bar is around 12 inches bar long. The traction is taken by a 3/8 bolt on the frame, and the exhaust support bolt is taken the rear end of the bar. see next picture.

I think you are asking for trouble. That bracket is able to hold your exhaust only, it is sheet metal. That wimpy hardware will fail, if one of the outboard ones breaks, the rest will surely go. I have broken Lotus exhaust hangar bolts by carefully tightening them.

He is correct. The one bolt design will not hold up
