My high school bud is getting hitched next month and we're going to Vegas to do his bachelor party. I'd like to check out one of the more bumpin' Vegas pool parties, anybody been to any they can recommend? Personally I'd prefer a more energetic vibe with a younger (and predominantly female) crowd ;) Some of the ones I've been hearing about are Rehab, Bare, Moorea, and Venus.

I'd like to check out Rehab but our group isn't willing to pay for a cabana... if someone here has a connection with Hard Rock that can get a group of guys in cheaper, lemme know.

Don't these pools have typical "swinger rules" - no single guys?

That's going to take $$$$$. The Hard Rock pool is always packed during warm weekends. Unless you're a hot chick, be prepared to shell out some cash for a cabana... IF you can get one.

Rehab at the hard rock is officially lame. If you are a bunch of guys in Vegas with no girls, plan on spending a lot of money if you want to do it right.

I know MGM has a couple of pools which allow alcohol in it. Pool was packed and the water looked a little yellowish :p

Yup...bring serious $$$ and the girls will follow. When I was there last year Tao Beach was just opening up and they looked like they had a pool, though nobody was in it at the time. Tao is a good place to get table service tho!

i know mgm and mandalay have topless pools....i believe it was 50 bucks per guy to get in, 20 for ladies....
there might be other hotels that have topless pools, but i only know of these 2.
i suggest u call them and find out what can be arranged.
bring cash for tipping. i go to a packed club they have no tables....i find the manager or someone in charge, tell him/her what i want and put a 50 in his hand.
done deal.

Were you guys pretty happy with the experience at the non-Rehab pools, like the ones at Mandalay and Mirage? My impression is that they're a lot more laid back and more relaxing, less partying type of atmosphere.

I'd love to spend the big bucks but our group isn't up for it, we got quoted $2500 minimum for a cabana at Rehab. Our group is already planning on spending $$$ at clubs and strip clubs, so we simply don't have the budget to continue going big on a pool party. On any other weekend with 8-10 guys, I'd spring for a cabana easily.

forget the cabana then and just go and have a good time....any of those pools have bars and little girls running around fetching drinks. or just do the 50 bucks per person topless pool....
im sure either way itll be fun.....
better yet, nevermind the cabana...use that money for the hookers that will come to your hotel room for 200-250 a pop.
:)
cabana....pffft

You could try gambling your ass off, and then getting comped.

I was comped a "pavilion" at Mandalay Bay a while back. The Moorea pavilions are better than the cabanas as they have couches, plasma TVs, small bars etc...

I don't think I had to gamble too much to get it, however, I do play there a lot.

Try calling a casino host when you're there and see what they can do.

all i can say is i went to my first pool party two weeks ago in miami and it was one of the best experiences of my life...we'll leave it at that. :D I WILL fly down for the exact same party (even if just for the night), every single year until i start getting stared at for being too old. Then i'll go for two or three more years and retire.

Honestly, Rehab was good 4 years ago. It has fallen off a lot now. Overhyped with people way too much for way too little. It is nothing like Miami pool parties (which I have been to many of as well). I am terrible for new recommendations in Vegas as I stick to the chilled out pools now and go out at night with friends who live there at the lounges.
