Its not uncommon on many vehicles to have that buzzy feel when changing, there is a mod that can soften or even remove that sensation and its called a clutch damper pipe

Seems that Lotus has gotten a bit tight about this repair. Just got off phone with Secor who spoke to Lotus. Lotus says no way! I made them note this in my account in case it fails post warranty so I have recourse. I will also call Lotus now to discuss directly.

Truly if this is the vibration when you change gear....that slight buzzy feel there is no issue ask about the clutch damper pipe see what they say. It doesn't happen just on a lotus look at the blogs on the web this happens for lots of manufacturer's Nissan, Toyota, land rover etc. I think that being a Lotus makes us more sensitive to any noise squeak or rattle, and that goes for any high performance car.
