Something infected my yahoo mail. An email was sent to everyone in my address book. It was a spam mail for a chinese electronic retailer (www.yoobcp.com).
I ran norton antivirus and found nothing. I ran ad-aware and it found malware which I have now removed.

I've changed my yahoo password. What else do I need to do (besides dumping my pc based computers)?

It might not have been a virus or a worm. I'll see what my kids have been up to .

I'd run spyware blaster and spybot search & destroy as well as the ad-aware (both are also free) but not sure that you need to. Perhaps sending an "oops, sorry" email to your address book may be nice.

Lastly, stop surfing porn :D.

usually all they do is spoof a yahoo login somewhere on a web page, it looks like yahoo and people are used to typing in their password again, so it just captures it and access their server based email lists, this is why you don't always find anything locally.

what was the malwares name?
