I emailed a Turbotecnics in the UK, a tuner that has FI kits for the other versios of the Elise and here is their response:
Dear Fred,

Thank you for contacting Turbo Technics. As you know Turbo Technics have an excellent following throughout Europe earn by the success of the highly acclaimed Elise supercharger systems.

Our current range of Lotus Elise supercharger systems are not compatible with the newly introduced Toyota engine, but no decision will be made on whether to proceed with a supercharged Toyota engine until later this year. We will be monitoring demand and would be happy to receive customer feedback, good or bad.

Very best regards,
Rob Yeomans.

Any UK listers know this company? is it a reputable outfit? Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the Elise as it sits right now so not much hurry to mess with it.

Just had another thought:

Does anyone know a company called Turbonetics ?

I know the owner and could see if they are interested in making a turbo or SC kit for the Elise. They also own the manufacturer of the Turbos used in most small aircraft engines but I wouldn't want to say anything if their products is not good.

Turbo technics are very well known here. They have a very good reputation for the support they provide to customers and the product seems well developed. I believe the offer options to take the standard 120bhp elise up to 190,215,230 or 260bhp.
I suggest you join the yahoo TT elises group and you should get all the info you need. I would have thought that it would be likely that they would offer a supercharger conversion at some point. If enough of you guys get in contact with them and convince them it is worth doing then I'm sure they will.
Bill thanks for the response, I'll check the group but as I said, I was looking at superchargers before I got the car. Now that I have the car I'm pretty happy with the performance. It is always nice to have a massive amount of torque just for the fun of being pushed against the seat when you floor the accelarator but in standard form the Elise is already a sweet package so I'm not rushing to do anything to it.
