Thanks for the pics. CO looks better and better, although I don't think I'll ever tire of BRP.

BTW-you mean "wiper", not "wipers" ;)

I see you did get service at MAG - did you see my car there LOL? Still waiting. Great delaership as far as I'm concerned. How'd the service go and what did they charge you? Great pics - I hit 100 in 5th at just about 4500 RPM on my test drive - I assume you were in 5th gear in your pic? That was me who posted the pics of the showroom, Rolls and Bentley there - some nice cars sitting around huh?

that carrera GT is a daily driver. The guy who owns it uses it for everything, work, grocery, gym, etc.

Cerven, didnt see your car. :( Talked to Mike the salesman, seemed real nice. MAG is a nice outfit. I wanted to go back to our dealer for the first service but 3 hours instead of 7 hours each way was too tempting. Ive just been too busy.

Not sure what gear I was in, I was just playing on the way home...I was bored and tired and trying to keep myself amused.

Our service was $240 but I provided my own oil. I also had an oil sample taken to send off to blackstone labs.

I keep hoping the second car will come in soon, so we can go back to the GAP.

Chris, myself and some others from Louisville are planning on coming down sometime in October to run the GAP. How much lead time would you need to join us, if you'd like?

Also, I heard a LOT of moisture was pushing up and swirling around in the GAP area as in not leaving for a week or so due to Ivan. Hope your weather stays ok!

Also, funny story from my trip.

I was getting gas at a Chevron Station in a small town called Carrollton Kentucky (site of the worst fatal bush crash in US history..DUI killed 30 people on a church bus) . Some guy in a yellow hummer pulled up and was talking to me about the car. Suddenly a lowered honda comes screaming into the gas station and rolls down the window. Three young men in their teens or early 20's were attempting to hang their head out of the car as it came to a stop. One said "hey who's car is that!". I said, which one? The hummer or the Elise? They said, "THE ORANGE ONE". I told them it was mine and they got all giddy. One of them asked "what you got in that thing" and before I could answer the hummer owner said "its a ford engine". LOL. I was like, um, no. So then one of the Honda guys asks me " are you a doctor"? LOL I have NO idea why they thought I was a doctor. Anyway, I got a good laugh out of the whole interaction.

I also had someone in a Mr2 nearly swerve into me me because they were trying to drive alongside and take camera phone pictures of my car.

Jenn, I only need a couple days notice, you really want to hit the gap before mid-october, after that you're on borrowed time as to how the weather will be. I've been up there some octobers with wonderful and some where it stunk.
Chris

Silver bullet and his wife up driving around n. ga today, LOA managed to get his rear window fixed and he got it yesterday. Said weather was great up that way.
