Has anyone closed the two small vents on the sides of the front clam? I want to but I know they are designed for cooling. One option I have is opening a vent on the front clam with a flap (to draw air in) underneath each radiator or to get two small fans to circulate the air, BTW I don't have a service manual, are these trans fluid coolers? Thanks for any recommendations.

To be clear, they are <b>engine</b> oil coolers, not transmission oil coolers.

I wouldn't suggest blocking them off. I'm not sure why you'd want to? but I don't see it ever being beneficial to the car.

I believe the GT3 Exige has flaps under the front splitter to draw up air, and has the openings on the front clam closed.

I don't know if they set the engine oil coolers differently for this purpose.
