First batch...I'm still thinking the rumored May/June. I'm just hoping that the delivery rate doesn't drop down to a trickle like we're hearing.

I had to wait almost 2 years for mine. I had more conversations, met more people, collected more magazine articles, and learned more about my car in that time than I would have believed possible. I told everyone that even if I never picked up my car, I had more fun in those 2 years than I had ever had with any other car in my life.

And then I did get to pick my car up The dealer thought I was an absolute nutter because I jumped around all over the place when I saw it for the first time because - YES - I had picked the right colour sight unseen, just like most of you guys.

Believe us, it only gets BETTER !! And BETTER. And then still BETTER.

How do we distribute that allocation?

It'll be when I'm in England. I'll be at the factory and get a call (gotta love GSM phones) right as I walk in to the factory saying my car is ready.

I'm hitting the Lotus "Scare yourself Sensible" event, should be fun. Maybe I'll get the call when I'm on the track.
