Just curious to see what everyone comes up with.

The worst thing for me is I cannot use my favorite joke at parties anymore!

Question: What’s the difference between a Lotus and a pile of dead hookers?
Answer: I don’t have a Lotus in my garage…(best said with the most creepy face and voice you have)

My top three:

1. Reliability
2. Parts availability for certain items
3. Attention from the public

The energy it takes to feed the obsession. It is a few standard deviations from the norm. I have never owned a vehicle quite like it.

I care about it too much to daily drive it... that's a reflection of it's perceived fragility which is mainly born from the fiberglass body.

Virtually all maintenance and repair work takes longer on the lotus, than it does my other cars.

Negative attention and people getting the wrong idea and sizing you up

Slower in a straight line that I realized
(I didn't realize how fast other cheaper cars actually were)

Don't want to put too many miles on it/Can't(Won't) drive it in the winter

Hands down the attention, positive or negative.

The guilt of not washing it immediately when it gets dirty/after track.

In Australia the attention you get is all POSITIVE!!
But I don't like it's rattles and squeaks and its too small.
No one knows what Lotus stands for in Australia.
