What color is more exotic?

I have a delima. When I finally get the money to buy a lotus elise, which will be in like 10 years; which color would be considered more exotic. ***I want a elise that just looks as exotic as possible.

So which color do you think is better: Chrome Orange OR Krypton Green

I like both so much that I can't decide. Please give me your opinion, even if you think i'm an idiot for asking this question.

Chrome Orange is probably the most "Exotic" looking, while the Krypton/Isotope green is more... I don't know.. "AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG" maybe?

I wasn't allowed to get an Isotope green one...

Edit; I think Krypton is better, to answer your question... but I think CO is probably more exotic.
Chrome Orange in my opinion.

Kyrpton Green is kinda cool looking, but it's a kinda 'negative' stand out reaction instead of the 'positive' from the orange.

No offense to Krypton Green owners.
I wasn't allowed to get the Iso green one either... I was told that it was discontinued... I was leaning toward GG anyway... :)
I think the shape and the lines of this car are really what gives it its exotic appearance (95%), not the color (5%). So get the color you think is more striking. Also, this is one of those things that once you have one of them, you aren't going to be pining away the days wishing you had the other. You'll likely be happy either way.

Bear in mind that 10 years from now, Loti will probably look somewhat different, and will also be offered in colors that are different from now.

Your username would indicate you already like orange better...
Polar Blue.

+1 -Not sure color matters

If asked which color is more typically found on an "exotic"..I'd say CO. (But that's probably just because of lambo)

You can see Orange on any new Challenger...every day of the week. You want Exotic, go with Krypton, that color is usually reserved for cars like Lamborghini's...

KG Elise is what I wanted. Wife wanted red, so she got the color choice.

Spot on.
Chrome orange is clearly the best. We even have our own Mafia. (and I just wrapped up making some totally amazing shirts for it)
...i don't know about flat-out exotic, but bordeaux red with a grey interior is an uber-sophisticated exotic which few other vehicles can touch...
I went with orange and really like it.

I love the Lambo green. I think it looks better than the Lotus green.

In hindsight and more $$$, I would have looked into seeing if I could get my car painted the Lambo green at the factory.

Someone should do it.

Its been done. There are pictures floating around somewhere.

But to answer the original question, Krypton is clearly the superior color. I get comments and questions on it all the time. When people see SweetDaddyD's car they just say "Oh, another orange car".
ok, i think you all have valid points. but you're missing the clearest choice is black SBA or PB.

less is more, a quiet statement is more powerful than a look at me statement.

the exige in all black, with the black wheels? menacing and exotic. our elise in SB has received comments like that's the best colour i've seen those in.

ok, that's my biased opion of course.

the comment earlier about the lines of the car makin the point, and the color is secondary is spot on.

and what ever color you choice, will be your choice and the right one, and you'll love the heck out of a Lotus.

you have 10 years to figure the color. we saved for 15, well worth the wait.

Bordeaux is just stunning, it was my first choice. Unfortunately, there was no used-car factory to make it for me :(.
...now, as for awesome, rather than exotic - whenever i put the mixed arctic silver panels onto my storm titanium car, i literally have complete strangers flag me down every few intersections to tell me that my car is 'bad ass', exact words, over and over again, every time...

...the two-tone panels are an interesting look, perhaps not quite what i'm going for with mehve and probably better-suited to an exige than an elise, but there's no denying that they garner a very pronounced reaction in public...
The lighter colors show off the character lines of the car much better. The darker cars are less attention getting from a police perspective. I went with NB because I've always been partial to blue, and didn't want my car screaming "hey, over here officer!"
I think........... he's already decided on what's the best color.
