I'm thinking Yellow or Racing Green, because I've had a car in just about every other color offered already. The Titanium looks nice on the website, but I really don't know... what do you guys think? I'm still kicking myself for not waiting for the Yellow S2000 and settling for the Silverstone... yellow would be fun, for sure... but I've never seen it in person... does it look too toyish?

you realize you're just asking to be attacked by the chrome orange mafia. They will not rest until you agree to join their little gang.

I wouldnt go for silver. Everybody has a silver car nowadays.

Hey Wedge,
I'm a relative noob, tell me 'bout COM.

Also, ever been to Brockton Villa in La Jolla? Man I miss that place.

color

I have to admit that black car with the black wheels looks great, but I had a black corvette once and black (and other dark colors) shows every little scratch... black might make the car that much hotter in the summer too...Titanium does look good, better than silver - I was told by a body shop owner that silver/gray are the hardest colors to match if you ever need to have paint work done... My dealer's opinion was that small cars look best in lighter colors...For me yellow is my probable choice, although I am still considering magnetic blue or ardent red... Partially depends on whether they let us get stripes...

I had a black car before. Won't do it again, car detailing isn't one of my hobbies. I think the car will look best in a bright color, so Nightfall Blue, Racing Green and Bordeaux Red are out for me. Silver is just too common.

Storm Titanium would probably be my first choice if I wanted something relatively low key, I think it will look very classy. But I don't want low key for this car.

My favorite right now is Saffron Yellow. I never had a yellow car, and I always liked it. But I found myself thinking about Ardent Red, too, you can never go wrong with red on a sports car. There's an outside chance for Magnetic Blue, I'll have to see a color sample. But my current car is blue, so I'll most likely stick with yellow or red.

I'm with you 100% on this one, ConeFusion.

Don't want low key (titanium = out).. besides, my current car is very similarly colored

Don't want black... pain in the butt to keep clean (been there done that)

Don't want red... I had an Imola Red BMW M Coupe...

I'm heavily leaning towards yellow... Just wish I could SEE it !!!

I'm leaning towards red. It looks very nice on the Elise and it's very visible.

The Elise is a tiny car and I do not want to get run over by an SUV who doesn't see me.

I also like dark/light blue, but they may not be visible enough.

The problem with a red car, especially a red Elise is that other people think, he must have a small p*nis.

That and probably being pulled over more are the only downsides.

I say screw what they think and be sure to have a V1. =)

I'll be all set.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I wish they sold after-market exige-style fast-back tops.

Also, on further consideration, I think the red is nice, too. I haven't seen a decent pic of the orange yet, but for now, I'm between yellow and red.

transio-

I'm with you on yellow. My first choice is lightning yellow. Problem is, we might not be getting that color :(

Babak-

I'm surprised the COM hasnt peeped yet. Mapes? Anyone?

No, I've never been there. Where is it...maybe I should check it out when I return.

Yeah, I noticed there are quite a few of us. Are you active on s2ki as well? I wish I could keep both. :)
Yeah, Prolene there as well. Plenty of time for me to try to do creative things to keep both, I hope.

I think "Meat" may be another member.

I'm "transio" on s2ki... been a member for a couple years (not too active, though).

EDIT: Personally, I'm gonna dump the S... I'm sick of it. Besides, if I want a second car, it will either be a beater or a utility vehicle (i.e. pickup)

Yeah, I have seen a few of your posts recently. (I'm XconZ over there)
