Hey Andy & DE Homies. I just called Pat. He told me that they have had indeed 6 cars and that he should of had 13 by now but Lotus was 60 days late. They will not be getting another demo and he has been asked by Lotus to spec out the next 10 cars which includes me! (#21-30, I believe)

So I told him to hook me up with LAZER BLUE, dog! It's still available. Sport Pack, hardtop, starshield. I'll get the stage 2 later on. He told me $900 or so plus $200 install labor.

I have now splintered from COM and am now forming the LBM!

Oh damn! I forgot to tell him about the delete option!!

Ouch! I think I read somewhere here that another dealer was only charging somewhere around $700 installed!

Don't think this is possible. The Stage 2 exhaust is 622.27 from DE parts dept. NOT including installation. No mechanic is going to cut the diffuser and install the exhaust for $77.73. The installed price is usually about $1125.00.

In this thread, Stan mentions that his dealer installed the Stage 2 exhaust for about $850. Not quite the 700ish I remembered, but a lot less than Shay was quoted. Did someone at DE quote that 622.27 price for the parts? 'Cause it looks like they just told Shay that the exhaust was $900 just for parts.

Yes, Aaron Marhafer in the parts Dept at DE 760 -773- 5008/800-347-4709 quoted me $622.27. He also said that they hadn't sold any as of yet, so maybe after he got off the phone with me,he realized that he didn't add profit.:wallbang: All I know is this is the price that he quoted me. :shrug:

I didn't ask about the installed price, since they hadn't installed one yet,I didn't want to be the quinea pig. I think that most dealers are charging 3 or 4 hours labor for installation. Probably $1100 or so installed. I am having one installed by NE. They have installed several and do a nice job of cutting the diffuser.

I have to say that lately, as delivery draws near, DE has been more forthcoming with useful information and more responsive.

I'll say that I'm #1x, ETA 11/20, and I have had my VIN for over a month.

I'm getting the "new & improved" MSRP. I understand some earlier deliveries were under the old sticker price.

Yeah, there have been many times that I've kicked myself for using my real name. Not so much because of any issues I've had with DE, but rather due to the problems I was having with my previous dealer. You know, the one where I'll have to take the car for service.

The good news is that it sounds like things are proceeding smoothly for the most part. At least once a week the head of my company asks me if I have my car yet. I've been able to give him the same estimate four times in a row now and that never happened before.

holy sh*t! #22 in April! doesn't sound right to me. Andy is #20 and is expecting his in January.

But I did get an email back from Pat saying they only delivered ONE car in October.
