I have an 05’ aubergine purple Elise with stock wheels. The wheels have always been a challenge to keep clean because of the anodized finish applied on the 05’s. I was thinking of powder coating and the obvious choice is black, but then I was thinking of white or color matched. Please don’t chastise me if you think a certain color would be hideous, just looking for some opinions and suggestions. Anyone ever see an Elise with white wheels, or have a photoshopped one. Any suggestions welcome. And I realize that white wheels would also be hard to keep clean but anyone out there with the earlier anodized factory wheels know that they are impossible to keep clean.

I recently powder coated my wheels glossy black. Looks awesome when clean, but it does show brake dust very easily, even on 1 day drive with "low dust" pads. If i had to do it again, i would do some sort of flat black.
