I just wanted to share some pics of wheel decals that a fellow member here had made for me. His name is Fred @RapidLotus. He’s a great guy to work with. He can make you any decals in pretty much any color.

So recently I picked up a used set of Volk TE37 wheels for my Exige. It was gloss black and in ok condition. I refinished them in bronze and asked Fred to make me some Volk decals for them. I’ll let the pics do the talking.

I love how the Volks came out. I also asked him to make me decals for my 240R wheels (Volk style). But I’m still on the fence about these.

Like the idea but IMHO the yellow set is a definite clash with the center badges and detracts from the overall look. How weatherproof are they?

Agreed about the yellow. That’s why I’m on the fence. I may ask Fred to do a white set for me. So far they have survived a wash so they’re pretty weatherproof.

Thanks for the posting of the pictures! Looking great but I agree with the yellows being a bit off. Colors can be hard to match because of the vinyl is not produced in a bunch of shades and cannot be "mixed" to match a certain color. I'd be glad to try another color if you like. I am thinking a white set might go better.
All the decals I make are cut from VViVid vinyl which is automotive wrap so should up well to anything we can throw at it environmentally. They state expected durability is 5 - 7 years but since most of our cars are stored indoors I would expect longer. Another advantages of automotive wrap over hobby vinyl is that it is easily positionable, removable, and has bubble release technology.
I can make pretty much anything but my present limitations are 1' x 5' because my cutter only handles 1' wide material.

looks good! now you just gotta spin the back wheels as fast as the front so they stay in sync! :D

Looks great. I bought a set from a local shop for $60 (OEM) recently.

Itll be a great alternative since I assume it's much less $$
