so I have given up on washing my wheels cause its such a pain and they get covered in brake dust/dirt so fast I just give them a once over with a hose and move on... what do you do?

my elise has the standard wheels but i live up a dirt road!!
i do clean/wash the outside when i (occasionally) wash the car.
any time i pull a wheel, it gets the full cleaning treatment.
sam with the dirty elise...

I kinda like the gun-metal gray the brake dust creates on my wheels. Looks even better on my Audi. I'm starting to give up and just not care, but I guess it will start to pit the wheels, so I'll clean them once and a while.
