i live in southern indiana, the closest dealer is over 4 hours away. anybody have any ideas/suggestions about how i can go and sit in a Lotus Elise, test drive one, etc, without driving all the way to one of the dealers?

anybody know anyone, or any place, in southern indiana that could let me get my feet wet the easy way?

Think of the four hour drive as the anticipation that will make the drive all the more worthwhile.

The closest (reliable) dealer to me is about the same distance away. Just know that once you test drive (and then subsequently buy) it, you'll have a good four hour drive home. Then another few hours once you speed right by your house.

Why not tell us about what city you're in, and maybe they'll be an Elise/Exige owner near you who can point you in the right direction

yea, i'm also careful not to volunteer people but most of us would give someone a ride in our car.

I wouldnt let anyone else drive my cars, which is why i said someone will let you drive their car.

OP, hopefully you can get some info about some people that live locally to you and they can give you a ride or point you in the right direction.
