Where is the rev limiter in first gear when in sport mode? I thought it was at 7200 rpm, but my car seems to be at 6900 rpm, it only has 1200 miles on it.
So I was wondering if Lotus set it low until it was more broken in, or is my tach off?

Fuel cuts out at close to or at 7000RPM in sports mode (as I've observed), however the peak rev limit appears to be 7200RPM.

I have videos to demonstrate peak revs with Sports mode on and off, if you want, I can upload them later.

If you could upload those videos I would really appreciate it.

Is it like an over rev feature that likes you hit 7,200 for 1 or 2 seconds?

I think it is engine inertia. My ECU dump shows a peak of 7209 rpm but my other 4 readings are 7009, 7023, 7067, 7088

I've noticed that I can get the revs higher under load while driving than just free revving FWIW...it seems to cut at about 7k when free revving and closer to 7200-7300 (tough to tell on the tach while driving) when pushing it on the road
