I have a 2008 Lotus Elise SC with the "track pack" option. The bumpstops on the rear struts are wore and I want to replace them. I couldn't find them on the Bilstein web site. Anybody have any recommendations as to where I can purchase replacement bump stops?

Looks like they're closed for covid so you can't even call for tech support.

Hello Serge,

This may not be Bilstein, but they might be entirely suitable. Contact Performance Shock, Inc. at Sonoma Raceway, CA PSI os a very reputable shop for shock service.

Best of luck to you.

Dan

When i called Bilstein recently to ask about having base suspension coilovers rebuilt, they referred me to Performance Shock or Delta Vee Motorsports. So either of those would be good places to ask.

Do they have to be Bilstein? You can shock mounted bump stops almost anywhere.

I just wrote to Performance Shock to see if they have any Bilstein or aftermarket replacement bump stops. Thanks for the referral guys!

I installed single-adjustable Racetech struts from Inokinetic on my canyon-carving Lotus Elise this weekend, and I'm very happy with them. It took a bit of trial-and-error for me to get the ride-height and valve adjustments to my liking, but it was well worth the effort. I have spring rates of 350 in the front and 500 in the rear, so the ride can be a bit harsh over pot holes, but the ride is absolutely fantastic around tight turns on smooth asphalt.

I want to get new bump stops for my old set of Bilsteins so I can then put them for sale on LotusTalk.

BTW, I love this web site. I don't think I would have purchased my Elise without this resource given that the closest Lotus specialist is a 6-hour drive from my home.
