Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a place to run karts in the D.C. area? Haven't seen a thread on it here, altho a place in Delaware was mentioned.

Thanks.

i tried this place - if anyone wants to meet up there sometime and run a few quick races, let me know. Pretty fun, altho one or two of the cars were so loose it was nuts for a lap or two.

hey, a couple of us are doing this tomorrow at 7pm.

There's a meetup if u wanna rsvp or just hit me up and i'll add you. We get extra time (roughly 20 laps) bc we regularly bring a group. If u have your own balaclava, gloves, bring em. Otherwise, their stuff is fine and free to use.

We try to run our session in succession, could take an hour, give or take. May meet for drinks afterwards.

Park your Lotus in a congo line outside and check out my FF splitter ;-)

Our company did this last year as a team endurance race. It was a blast. We had 2 driver teams and ran about an hour straight.

Let me know if you do this again. I'd like to check it out.

C - looks like u're in for Saturday.

I did it this past weekend so wont see you. But the regular group is quite fast...if you havent been before then get there early, and get some tips from David; he's quite good. Usually posts lap times and video afterwards. Good luck! Let me know what kind of times u pull.

Nice . . . but

It's a nice facility, I have raced there - any many others.

But, seriously, inspired by Monaco grand prix ? In what way?

nah, i think he's just trying to add a little extra sizzle. the owner's been to all those tracks and raced many of them; i know he did race at lemans, he's no slouch. among the entrants (the one time i viewed online) was mario andretti. what a great story: yeah i raced against mario at lemans. it was in 1982 - 83 i recall?
