I am considering getting some LEDs for my 05 Elise, and trying to decide if the yellow inner lense or the white one looks better. I have never seen the yellow in person. Anybody got perferences?
Thank.

did ya see my pics on your other thread?
If you have a yellow or orange car, I vote Euro!
Good vote, cuz its a done deal! Now I've just got to find some inner ones. Also on my wish list, although a little later: TVS, new clutch, fuel pump, larger injectors and Mahle pistons.

I've done half of those mods....upgraded to ACT clutch, and 255 fuel pump (which makes a whine)....I will prob. do TVS in the future...

g'luck!
I like the Euro setup better in that the little middle light works as the indicator. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's orange ON THE INSIDE. What I'd like to do is order the inner LED lights and fit them on the outside and wire the center to light as the indicator. Then throw a clear red LED in there. So that way you keep the clear look. :)

That's exactly what I did - except that I didn't install a LED but an amber regular bulb. The only problem is that those bulbs are hard to find (in the correct Wattage), and I ended up using a clear one and some amber light bulb paint and made my own.
I think I saw some 18Watt amber stealth bulbs somewhere online, but I can't remember where that was...

I'm guessing rewiring wasn't a big deal? Did it take long to do?
