I like the Euro setup better in that the little middle light works as the indicator. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's orange ON THE INSIDE. What I'd like to do is order the inner LED lights and fit them on the outside and wire the center to light as the indicator. Then throw a clear red LED in there. So that way you keep the clear look. 
That's exactly what I did - except that I didn't install a LED but an amber regular bulb. The only problem is that those bulbs are hard to find (in the correct Wattage), and I ended up using a clear one and some amber light bulb paint and made my own.I like the Euro setup better in that the little middle light works as the indicator. I think I saw some 18Watt amber stealth bulbs somewhere online, but I can't remember where that was...
