Dude, you need to move from there.

Forget about the car -- you're dealing with some serious shrinkage!!

Stay warm.

Dear God, that's COLD! Do you even get to use the other half of that termometer in Alaska?

Not in Alaska. Lumn8rs Elise may be the only one in Alaska?

He is on the waiting list at Autostrada in Texas.

Yes, I've seen it about 95 in the summer here. Actually I was just thinking about what a strange fall we had here. We set a record high of 70 on October 1st. But fourty below is nowhere near the record low.

The only usefull thing about fourty below is that is where the Fahrenheit and Celcius scales meet. :D

I'd be glad to store your car for you in San Diego over the winter ;)
My brother already offered to pick the car up and store it at his place east of Fresno for as long as I needed.:)

Forget air conditioning, you need an engine block heater!
How are the roads up there in the summer? I heard the road going thru Canada into Alaska was full of potholes. Are you going to bring the car up in an enclosed trailer? I think it might fit in a large open UHaul trailer too since my friends dad brought home a original mini cooper in one about 35 years ago. It was the first time I ever saw a car that small. He inhertited it and it didnt run and it sat in the garage for about 20 years. All of us little kids on the street would play in it and pretend we were driving.

Maybe the US dealer could have it sent to a dealer in Canada so you wouldnt have such a long trip back. The Canadian dealer might even pay for the shipping if you allowed them to use it for display purposes so they could get deposits.

I'll either get an enclosed trailer for going through Canada, or (prefferably) take the ferry from Washington and avoid Canada. Once I get to Alaska the roads will be fine.

Frukio,

That's more snow than we have, and it looks like wet snow. We get the cold, dry kind that blows right off your car once you start moving.

i only had enough energy to free up one car yesterday. suppose i should finish the driveway today. ugh.

notice the lump of snow up the driveway - underneath that somewhere is my volvo...
