Will you get the wheel arch/ paint protectors?

  • Yes I will, I think they're cool and will also help protect the paint.

Those rear wheelarch protectors are a standard fitment on all elises - although usually they're clear not black.

If you look at some of the international Lotus sites, you will find that the protective film is black on the base models and clear on some option packages.

The choice seems to be whether you want them black or clear. Who knows if the same system will apply in the U.S.

*bzzzzt* some Exiges got them in black, the huge majority of Elises are clear, usually the exceptions are where the owners have done an after market fitting of black ones.

I believe that all Exiges had black.

As a note - they aren't big enough to protect the areas that take abuse (at least on the Exige).

Not that it would be a deal breaker, but I like them in black. I hope this option is available to us:)
