As an aside, here is some comparison data from the UK site:

Statistics: Road car versus a Formula 1 car
Road Car Formula One car
0-60mph 11.4 seconds 2.3 seconds
Maximum speed 121mph 220mph
G-Force under breaking 1G (emergency stop) 6G
G-Force corning 1G 5G
Car weight 1730KG 605KG
Refuelling (full tank) 3 minutes 10 seconds
Tyre performance 20,000 miles 64 miles (or 20 laps of Silverstone)

Cars used for comparison:
2.0 D-4D Toyota Avensis Saloon
AT&T Williams-Toyota 2.4L V8 FW30

Any of these numbers look wacky to anyone else?

at first the numbers looked odd, but the avensis is between a corolla and camry in size and the d4d is a mid power diesel, so the numbers are not so out of whack.
