Worth a shot.. anyone here with a waterjet or CNC machine access who can make a part for me?

I have zero ability to do CAD design though could get exact measurements.. Basically looking to be made out of sheet of 1/8 to 1/4 thick aluminum a piece to use for new double din head unit surround.

Here is a rough drawing..

Hole in top is for the head unit, second hole below is for radar detector controls and last is HVAC

Of course don't mind paying...

I could help ya out. Just get me the dimensions you're looking for, and I'll draw it up and have it laser cut.

Might cost $40-$50 for the laser time, but I'll see if my buddy could give us a deal.

OK, I'll get exact dimensions today/tomorrow.

Would want outside corners rounded and edges rounded/beveled a bit too in order to take off "sharpness. Though could just file myself the edges to bevel a bit so no big deal if couldnt do that part...

Can laser do only in metal or can they do plastic too?

Here is the template with dimensions below.

Dimension are:

1/4” THICK, can be plastic or aluminum. Piece is not structural..

As noted in image, here is the key for each, call please if any questions.

A: 1/4”
B: 7 7/16”
C: 5 1/2”
D: 5/16”
E: 17 mm (could not get good measurement in inches on this one)
F: 4 1/4”
G: 98 mm (could not get good measurement in inches on this one)

To clarify a bit in the hole where the letter “G” is where the head unit display sits and in the notch at lower left “F” is where the controls for the radar detector is.

The red circles I put to indicate those corners would be rounded.
If can do all edges with a slight curved bevel (maybe 1mm) EXCEPT the bottom which I colored in blue would be nice. If cannot do this no big deal whatsoever.

I have no problem doing 1/4" thick, but is it really needed? 1/8" would be cheaper and should be just fine, IMO. The 1mm fillets are easy to do.

If we wanted to make it look really nice, we could do aluminum, cut it out, anodize it black or gunmetal; and with the unused space in the bottom right, we could laser sketch/engrave either a Lotus logo or the words "Lotus" and/or "Esprit" or some other quote of your choosing.
