This is the actual part number description: Rotary Contact Unit, SIR wheel Lotus Part Number A120M6010S

This module sits between the airbag on the steering wheen and the actual steering column, etc, and allows all the electronics on the wheels (horn, airbag) to stay connected as the steering wheel is turned left/right.

So, if you replaced your steering wheel with an aftermarket unit you probably won't need this part. I however, had the airbags deployed and need a replacement unit.

Thanks!

Marcos,

Did you ever get a response on this? I find myself in need one also.

You might broaden your search - deployed airbag makes no difference. Mine went to a new home just fine and came from a car with deployed airbag

My airbag light has been on for months.... maybe this is the problem? I've checked the seat belt retractors, wiring harness, etc... Light is still on. Any ideas?

Steve B,

Out of a pure stroke of genius I broke my rotary contact. The horn doesn't work and I'm assuming the air bag won't either. I never got an air bag light.
