I was driving home from work and the yellow engine light came on.

Car runs fine with 5600 miles on the clock.

I look through the manual and it wasn't helpful.

I checked all the vital fluids, no problem - any ideas?

You should plug an OBDII reader into the car and find what is causing the light (it will display a code and short description).

Thanks to all

The yellow engine light was caused by a loose gas cap.

I drove the car con brio for a week with the light on, and it went away.

I now make sure the gas cap is tight after refueling.

Group diagnostic works.

the acctrons autozone have usually work, but make sure you can return it, if it doesn't work.
Careful here california changed the law about returning obd II readers. Autozone or retail store is no longer allowed to "rent" OBD II readers. All the shops got together and complained that business was going down due to people fixing their own problems.

Its the same thing here in Florida.

I just picked up this one here, and couldn't be more happy with it, especially at its price-point, for all the functionality.
