Yeah, wreckedexotics turned my stomach the first time I looked at it. Look at a few pics before a spirited drive on public roads to calm you down.

Other than the fires, It looks like the driver/passenger cocpit stays intact in all of the wrecks shown in the Elise category.

There is a silver lining in every cloud.:rolleyes:

Love the blacked-out headlights, cause you know, the Elise headlights are just too bright for me. :rolleyes:

Regarding the headlights....

The S1 cars brought in by Lotus USA were "required" to have blacked out headlight covers as a further measure to show that the cars were not intended for street use.

For a time I had clear covers on my car, but I like the look of the blacked out covers so I put them back on. Since I don't participate in 24 hour endurance racing, my car will never be driven at night and therefore, I don't need my headlights.

Sometimes when loading and unloading the car from the trailer I use my driving lights to see where I'm going.
