I'm installing a Zeitronix ZT2 A/F Ratio Meter and Datalogging system and am seeking the best way to route my oxygen sensor harness from the cockpit to the catalytic converter. I want to run the harness down the center console and through the firewall. I don't think that I have enough harness cable to go through the grommet behind the drivers seat. Has anyone drilled a new hole and put in a new grommet? Any suggestions would be helpful.

One of these is in my future, probably the same system. What did you do for a bung?

There is not enough harness. I had to use a ethernet cable coupler and then had to add another 3-4 feet (I forget which I went with) of Cat3 cable in order for it to fit under the dash.
I didn't think of that - you're the man! Problem solved. Thanks for the suggestion!

New hole through, although it may not help you.
Michael
I was thinking of drilling a new hole and installing a grommet where the factory airbox (removed in my car) is mounted. That location will be useful should I run other wires or hoses through the firewall in the future.
