Door vapor barrier plastic - what tape did lotus use?

Most manufactures use a butyl tape, but its not like a traditional tape, more like a string of moldable putty with high-tac and sealing properties. Typically seperate with heat, but can also be resealed with heat. Note that it is a bit more messy than the stuff Lotus used.
