Finally checked the pressure in the tires of our new-to-us 2011 Elise SC. The drive home seemed a bit harsh but hey, it's an Elise, right? And I didn't have a pressure gauge on the trip.
The door sticker says 26 front, 28 rear. But all four tires were well into the 30's! This is on recent Yoko AD07's. I've drained them down to the 26/28 specs and we'll see how it rides.
Is there some tribal lore about running the AD07's harder than the Lotus recommendations? If so, is it tire specific or have folks just learned that a bit more is a bit better?
