Dr Hess!!! I presume..lol
It's been a long time! You probably don't remember me but I go way way back to the early to mid 90s on the original Lotus Esprit Email List where you and I (Espritaville!! with the 89 red Esprit Turbo with the FerrariEater licemse plate!) and Atwell Haines, Bob Metz and many others hung out! I have "graduated" to an Evora, as I see you have to! Would you be willing to email me a copy of your parts cross ref spreadsheet please. I know we shared several parts cross numbers way back in the Esprit days and my newly acquired Evora may one day need parts! I was going to PM you but once I logged in there was no PM button for you?? Can you msg me and I'll share email! Nice to "see" you again!!

Once you've been a member three days and have ten posts you'll be able to send/receive PM. NO posting personal info.

Has been a while. There are a lot of us "old timers" on here. Yeah, get 10 posts in and the PM opens up. You want the Esprit or Evora cross reference? What format? MDB, CSV, XLS, Clay Tablets, Morse Code?

The Evora one ... I had yer Esprit one years back and believe I added a number of parts to that. I sold the Esprit to get the Lambo. Sold the Lambo to go back to Lotus!
If you can search back 15 years in yer emails .. I still have the same espritaville email (or find it on the old turboesprit list if that's not too much trouble) ...ten posts may take me a while.
What I was specifically looking for was a cross for the Cabin air filter.. however I may have found it! I saw on the list it comes from a JCB tractor... I tried a few tractor places ...and it seems they knew (no idea how accurate) it was from a 2009 Nissan Frontier. So I ordered one today and can confirm tomorrow or Friday once I get it. Unless you already have that one... I didn't see it anywhere on the posts I went thru.
And yes definitely the Morse Code version 🤣🤣😂😂 ..id complete the joke with the Morse for XLS ..but I'm too lazy to go find my Morse chart lol

I had a system upgrade and a crash or two in the last 15+ years, so no, don't have your email. With yahoo dumping the email lists, the TE list moved to groups.io,
and the old messages were loaded there, but it looks like the email addresses were chopped, so all I can see is "espritaville@" and Mark. My email address, or one of them that works, is on the home page at . Takes a very small bit of work to put it together so the web scrapers won't automatically grab it and spam me.

My first real job was as a Radio Telegrapher when I was 18. I graduated high school and 2 days later was on the road to the swampland (Louisiana) from the PRC (California), about 1500 miles away. So, Morse Code is no problem for me. I'm not as fast as I was back then, and my fingers don't do what I want anymore, but I'm still better than most out there. Used to do 50WPM in my head, but 40 is about it now since I don't mess with it much anymore.

Oh, and my Esprit burned to the ground a half mile from my house on the way home from work about 12 years ago. It sold at auction for $226. Someone got a hell of a deal on a stainless exhaust manifold, which I think was about the only salvageable part of the car. I got a 2006 Elise after that, which got totaled by a f'in kid in a Jeep on the way to work. I swore off modern Lotus for a while, working on my Locost and old junk, then bought the Evora. My wife liked the looks of the Elise, and I let her drive the one I had. The Esprit was too difficult to drive for her, really. The Elise was easy. She likes the Evora, which she can drive, but liked how the Elise looked. So one day she was playing video games in the other room and I said "Hey, come look at the car I just bought you."

Since there isn't a single place anyone new (or not new) to the Evora sub can go to find parts cross-references, I figured I'd start a thread that will hopefully grow into that definitive source.

To start us off, I'm dumping the stuff I've been keeping track of over the years. If anyone finds something amiss with something posted, please let me know and I can edit. Feel free to contribute a post if you don't see something listed.

O2 Sensors
Bosch 0258006127
Bosch MHK 100840
Lotus A117E6007F
Denso DOX-2017
Rover MHK 1008 40L
Bosch 0 258 006 915 (Universal)
Does this mean that any of these listed is a direct replacement for the Lotus A117E6007F?

I have some O2 sensors listed as working fine, "direct replacements" but you have to pull the pins out of the plug and re-use your old plug. Not quite so "direct," but if you don't mind a little work with a jeweler's screwdriver, probably a good way to go. I suspect the OEM one is a UK only part.

No, not all are direct replacements. Some have no connector (ref Dr.Hess' post); others have the same connector but different pinouts. I believe I replaced one of my O2 sensors with the Bosch 0258006127, and it was a direct plug & play.

Does anyone have the Toyota part number for the Input shaft? The Lotus Part number is A132F6073S.
I have one from Lotus but arrived in a Toyota/Lexus box with no other part number. :)
It’s not a Toyota transmission. It is a Aisin. When I upgraded the gears in mine I could never come up with any documentation

Can confirm. Purchased 4 and are a direct replacement. Bought mine off of EBay.

That will be a difficult one. The transmission is not Toyota and was never put on any other US vehicle. It is a Aisin transmission and when I did the MWR gears on mine I searched and searched for service manual with no success.

If you want, I have the BG6 assembly/disassembly guides for the Dodge Journey, which also used the same trans.

The Toyota 90919-05060 crankshaft position sensor was fully superseded by the Toyota 90919-T5005 sensor.

I've installed the 90919-T5005 sensor and can confirm it works flawlessly.
