Hello!
Have been fawning over an Elise for years, and finally getting serious about tracking one down. Great to be joining an enthusiast community. Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome Jake!

It was a slow burn to start. I had the opportunity to be one of the first cars in NASA spec e30. Just good luck on timing. For a couple of years, there was only a handful of us. But we mostly kept it cheap and competitive, which unfortunately sm and se46 are not.

I think I'd be torn about tracking an Elise... Been there done that. But not quite like with an Elise:)

Mine was a Lotus Cup car so has been a racecar its whole life. I have learned a lot from driving this at the limit compared to previous platforms (s2000, e36m, e46m, spec miata) and it is a blast. Mine has a K24 swap detuned to run in TT4 with NASA. This is my car at Ozarks International Raceway a couple weeks ago for the NASA Champs :D

Welcome from a fellow former E30 owner! Very different cars for sure, but I feel like the same analog spirit is there. Honestly I've been debating selling my V70R to import an E30 touring, but can't quite bring myself to do it yet. 20ish-year-old pics of my 318is and M3:
