A friend of ours has a blue 2008 Elise factory supercharged. It was her husband's who passed a few years ago. She has not been driving it and wants to sell it. As far as I know, it has never been wrecked and is completely stock. 29K miles. Any idea on value?

Side note: I took my Elise to his funeral so that there would be a Lotus there.

It's about that same blue at Alex linked to. It's been a few years since I have seen it myself.

Here's the order sheet with the options from the dealer. Laser Blue. He was the original owner.

Be careful going too far back on values. Values have dropped significantly in last few years (as have all cars)
At 29k mileage is very good but out of 'collector' range. The curve of pricing falls steeply. "Collector" cars bring very high dollars on BAT. Nicely driven cars, not so much. Very nice car

My guess is between 45 and 50. Maybe push towards 55 is condition is very good.

I agree on not looking back any farther than 2-3 years.

Thanks, guys. I'll pass that on. Not sure on the rules here, but would I be allowed to be a middleman on the for sale section? That is, when she has pics of it, etc., can I post it and then pass contact info back and forth? That would be the extent of my participation.

I would ask $59K

OK, I have a bunch of pics taken in the past couple weeks. I'm going to list this for her in the For Sale section and just pass contact info on to her. I'll work on it tomorrow.

You can't receive any PM until you've met the minimum requirements plus an hour.

OK. You must be running a VPN then, as the flag shows up as "AT.SVG," two red stripes with a white stripe. Not sure what that is, but the flag will reflect the country of your IP. I can VPN in and change my US flag to anywhere that way. PM me away, or ask your question over in the For Sale section where I listed it. With 11 posts you should now have access to For Sale and PM's.

Once again he hasn't met the minimums of three days AND ten posts. It's not just ten posts. It's all automatic and he'll have access once he's met minimums plus an hour to sync in.

My bad. Two more days and you can PM and see the For Sale section.

Note to Locals: This car should be at our Car Show in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday, Sept 20, 2025. We should have 12 Lotus there, at least. And a McLaren, Aston Martins, etc.
