Unless you paid totally bonkers money, for the perfect spec and for a car that you hopefully will have for eons, it's worth the upfront cost. Make sure you drive it and enjoy it, as the smiles per mile will make up for any slight overpayment from now! 👍🏻

1. Are you planning to put little spikes on the top of the ends of the exhaust pipes?
2. Boat......the two best days in the life of a boat owner are > the day they get the boat and then the day someone else takes it off their hands.
.........but Lotus? Not so........the best days are unlimited. Examples:
The first day you hear the engine......the first time you win your Class at an Auto-Cross.....the first time your girl is riding shotgun.....the first time you go out on track at a PDE......the first time you feel the wind in your hair at 80 mph.....the first time you take it to a car show.....the first time you get it in a controlled four wheel drift just past the turn's apex and then punch the go pedal.....the first time someone at a stop light looks at you and goes WOW! ...... Lather, rinse repeat.

You'll get tired of this>
The first time someone asks, "How fast does it go?" .......I like to answer, often to their confusion, "It'll get over 2 Gs in the corner."

By the way.....there are no factory spikes you can obtain for the exhaust pipes. The Stag went extinct before your car was made
