New Emira I4 has not disappointed. My Evora GT was very cool car and the Emira just adds to my love of the Brand.

Yep. As the owner of both a V6 MT and an i4 tour. The US i4 is superior in every way except for not being a stick. More torque down low, 8 spd DCT, AMG weighing less and having more weight in front of the rear axle making it more nimble and rotate faster. the i4 touring rear spring is also stiffer than the V6 sport so the rear end is more willing to come out and play a bit without having to shut off ESC. A lot more fun in highly technical/twisty mountain roads. I still like my manual but if I'm going for a spirited drive in the mountains. 2 out of 3 times, I take the i4. If I'm just taking a casual drive without traffic, I take the V6.

Thanks for providing feedback being in a great position to own both versions of the Emira!

Only once in a while. The Shift logic of the DCT in Sport mode and above is pretty aggressive and will try to stay in peak torque range on it's own. A friend with an i4 sport said that he gets better lap time at Sonoma by leaving it alone than when he tries to shift manually.
