Anyone install this yet? Looks promising. I’ve heard the lotus stock shifter was bad but not “need to replace it bad “. Love this car except for that.

Yes they do offer S2. We have previous threads on their products in S1 and Kswap forums.

They just came out with a Toyota kit. Their stuff is awesome. I have their k swap s1 shifter. There isn’t really any reason I can think of for why the s1 shifter wouldn’t work in a k swapped s2, FYI.

I believe the issue with a non-k swapped s1 would be that you would have to reverse the shift action at the transmission since the Honda is backwards versus the Rover.

So……install wasn’t too bad. Most of the time was spent getting all the stock stuff out. HPE piece went in nicely. Just gotta keep everything loose to get everything to line up. My car was previously fitted with a LETSLa kit and I just attached the stock cables back on until I get replacements. First impressions are nice and short and much more direct. I’d say it was about a 50% better feel that the stock set up. I still have some side to side movement once in gear but that’s probably from my cables needing replacement or needing to adjust something on the trans side. Overall I’m really happy with it and have no regrets on buying. Car is already a lot more fun to drive and can’t wait to get new cables to improve the feel even more. My opinion this is the best shifter for the s2……

Excited to say we will be the N.A. point of contact and ordering for HPE shifters moving forward.
For anyone looking for one of these shifters for a 2zz car we have them coming next week for stock!
We can also get the K swap version for anyone wanting to upgrade after a swap, not in stock currently but we can get them fairly quickly.

So one day my factory shifter somehow snapped while I was trying to go uphill (bad day…) so I decided to give the HPE shifter a try and it was totally worth it.

Had it for 6 months now:
1) much stiffer than factory
2) almost no looseness/play between gears
3) shorter travel / quicker shifts
4) much snappier getting into gears (still no S2000 snappy but fair to say at least 50% better than factory)
5) build quality nothing but perfect whole system feels and looks solid and premium

I posted a video and some photos on my IG story feel free to check it out: Exige = @ben43210garage

btw, I paired with an InoKinetic console

I have a 2010 Exige S RHD
