If you could only choose one for the Emira and price was identical: 3rd cat delete, or GRP exhaust?

I think both would be overkill.

I was originally leaning on 3rd cat delete like everyone says to do. But I gotta say the sound from this GRP exhaust is so beautiful and tasteful.

Money is no concern, I just want the highest quality sound possible.

For those who have experience with both (or even just one), please weigh in!

GRP lists multiple exhausts for Emira which one? 3rd cat delete first.

DeCat reduces backpressure, is how Lotus intended for the car to sound, is literally a factory configuration, eliminates a failure point, adds lightness, and has been tested and very strongly recommended by countless (Evora) owners here.

Other than that, no reason to DeCat.

If "money is no concern" then @brightoncorgi nailed the answer.

Haven't weighed the stock exhaust yet, but Lotus has a history of using boat anchors for stock exhausts..............done right, no need for weighty secondary pipes, valves etc.... Even between the 11S stock unit and the 2013 stock unit there is a ~10lb difference. Maybe they finally learned.....exhaust gets my vote because it will drop weight. Get rid of the stock lead acid boat anchor also while you are at it. Now you are really improving the car. 3rd cat is just a heat soak source. It goes too. So easy to lose 50-75lbs on these cars. Also improves the balance.
But and a big BUTTTT, without the full redline available, you will never sound as good as an Evora at 7K rpms. Sad truth. So based on that, just start with decat.......unless you are serious about the increased performance over the sound.
