Ps here is my current setup. I believe I'm seeing that I have a stock catalytic converter but just the louder muffler. Is that right?

I suggest searching thru all the past threads on Elise exhausts and what members had to say. Lots of exhausts and opinions. Sonic Fury usually gets top vote for no drone. Stage two one of the loudest droning. Exhausts aren't cheap and shipping can be expensive but that quote sounds way high.
I was ready to upgrade but after repacking mine the drone has been greatly reduced if not eliminated.

On my 2005 Elise, the stock dual tip exhaust failed at 115k miles. I replaced it with a 2006 Exige stock exhaust that needed to be turned/clocked downward to allow the exhaust to exit the diffuser cleanly. It was a slightly more quiet than the original stock exhaust. YMMV

Our P.O. retained the stock exhaust system when he got the BOE REV300 supercharger.

I agree, no annoying drone...sure it's louder at some RPMs than others, but nothing bad.
