Im using a pair of tecnocraft seats and I used the preexisting rails. Now it wont stay locked in and keeps sliding back. Any thoughts?

I had to loosen the bolts holding the stock rails together to get my technocraft seat to fit. I grabbed two pieces of aluminum, you can use anything, and drilled holes at the right distance apart so I could size the rails outside of the car with the seat in it. Once every thing was together I tightened all the bolts back up and haven't had a problem since.
