Stage II Muffler with poor welds

These are pictures of a stage II muffler that had the brackets repaired improperly. Picture #3 shows the braket that was welded and broke off. You can see the hole in the muffler. I have had some interest in this so I want to post these pictures for clarification.

Looks like an easy fix. Grind that crap off, weld it on, little high heat paint and install.

poor welds

YES ! It was a CLF, but the bad welds were done bythe PO. LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE TRIED TO ARC WELD IT!
